ARE 16 x 48 TILES EASY TO LAY? 

16 x 48 tiles are as easy or as difficult to lay as any other large format tile. Their narrowness may make them easier for one person to carry alone but due to their weight it is likely to be wise to use two people to install them, to avoid any risk of damage or breakages. Suction cups can be useful to help move them and lift them securely into place.

HOW DO YOU CUT 16 x 48 PORCELAIN TILE?

Porcelain is a robust tile that can be cut with a straight rail cutter on a work bench. Measure and mark the tile where you want to cut it. Lie your tile face up inside the rail cutter. Make sure that the end of the tile is flat against the edge of the cutter to be sure your cut will be scored in a straight line. 

Place the cutting blade on the mark and score along the full length of the tile. Lift the arm up and place back down, resting on either side of the score line, about 10mm in from the edge of the tile. Press down briefly and firmly either side of the line and the porcelain tile should make a clean break.

HOW TO CHOOSE WHICH ROOM TO USE 16 x 48 IVORY TILES IN? 

Ivory is a creamy, soft shade that would look good in any room. With its pared back, calm energy it would work well in a bathroom or shower space to create a serene space to relax.
