    Convenience is key when it comes to laying your new commercial flooring, and our 22 mil wear layer vinyl plank has been designed to be quick and easy to install. We have both glue down and click installation options available in our range to suit your requirements. 

    If your vinyl flooring will be fitted in a washroom or bathroom, you should select one of our waterproof or water resistant products. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for the ultimate protection for your new floor, you may want to opt for one of our stain resistant or dent resistant products. 

    HOW THICK IS 22 MIL VINYL?

    It’s possible to choose from different thickness of 22 mil vinyl, with options up to 7mm in thickness. The term “mil” is only referring to the flooring’s wear layer rather than the total thickness of the product. 22 mil vinyl planks have 22 protective layers of coating. As a single plastic food wrap sheet measures 5 mils in thickness, you can expect your 22 mil vinyl flooring to have a wear layer that is roughly equivalent to four and a half food wrap sheets. 

    WHAT DO YOU CUT 22 MIL VINYL WITH?

    The best way to cut 22 mil vinyl flooring is with a utility knife. The most effective solution is to draw a line where you need to cut, taking care to ensure that it is completely straight. You can then score along that line with a sharp utility knife. You should then be able to easily snap the vinyl plank at the correct spot. 

    HOW DO YOU LAY 22 MIL VINYL?

    Depending on which of our 22 mil vinyl flooring solutions you choose you can either glue it down or use the click method to lay it in your space. Both are quick and convenient options that will allow you to fit your new flooring in no time.

    What if the warehouse closest to you doesn’t have the item you have selected in stock?
