HOW TO INSTALL MOSAIC TILE BACKSPLASH 

Install your mosaic tile backsplash by spreading a layer of epoxy or thinset with a trowel onto the wall behind your basin. Apply the spacers then align the first tile sheet above the spacers. Press the sheet firmly against the wall to ensure the tiles will be secured correctly. Once this is done, place the next sheet. Make sure that you’ve left your tiles for at least 24 hours to dry before applying grout. 

HOW TO CUT MOSAIC BACKSPLASH TILE

A manual tile cutter is often the best and simplest way of cutting mosaic backsplash tile. With no need for any water or electricity, manual tile cutters are convenient and user-friendly. The only exception is if the mosaic backsplash tile is made from a natural stone as then you’ll need to use a wet cutter.

HOW TO GROUT GLASS MOSAIC BACKSPLASH

Grouting your glass mosaic backsplash needn’t be difficult. You simply mix the grout with the correct amount of water to achieve the right consistency for use. You then use your grout float to apply it to the surface of the mosaic tiles. Hold the float at a 45-degree angle – this enables you to work to grout more easily into the joints. Once you’ve filled all of the joints, scrape away excess grout before waiting for 10 minutes and wiping the grout away with a damp sponge. Take care to ensure the surface is entirely smooth and clean so that the glass looks its best.
