    HOW TO INSTALL GLUE DOWN VINYL PLANK FLOORING

    Glue down vinyl plank flooring is easy to install as long as you’ve prepared your surface correctly. You simply need to choose a high-quality acrylic based adhesive to fix down your new flooring. Use a trowel to spread the adhesive evenly across the surface at an angle of 45 degrees, wait for at least 45 minutes until its color changes, and then start laying your planks. When the flooring is all laid, use a roller to make sure the flooring is securely fixed in position.

    HOW LONG DOES GLUE DOWN VINYL PLANK FLOORING LAST?

    Glue down vinyl plank flooring is designed to stand the test of time. As long as you choose a high-quality brand, such as one of the products from within our carefully selected range, you can be confident that your new floor will last for at least a decade. In low traffic areas, your new floor could last far longer, even as long as 20 years. 

    DOES GLUE DOWN VINYL FLOORING EXPAND?

    It’s important to note that, although glue down vinyl flooring is fixed to the surface with an adhesive, it may still expand. Therefore, it’s imperative to ensure that you have left a gap of around ¼” around the edges when installing your new floor. You will also need to leave additional spaces for expansion if your installation will measure more than 30 feet.
