HOW TO INSTALL SLATE BACKSPLASH

You can install slate backsplash quite easily using a high-quality adhesive. Simply prepare the wall, ensuring that it’s smooth, clean and dry. Next, apply the adhesive, taking care the align the backsplash tile carefully before pressing it into the adhesive. Repeat with the remainder of the backsplash tiles before leaving to dry completely. This may take as long as 24 hours. You can then apply grout. 

HOW TO GROUT SLATE TILE BACKSPLASH

You grout your slate tile backsplash using the grout of your choice and a small trowel. Make sure that the adhesive is completely dry before applying grout. Apply to the joints and make sure that all gaps have been completely filled. Leave to dry completely then once dry, use a damp cloth to wipe over the surface of the tile to remove any excess.
