    HOW DO YOU CUT MARBLE SPLIT FACE STONE TILES?

    A standard marble tile cutter, or a circular cutter with a water-cooled blade, will be sufficient for virtually anything you need. If in doubt, or short of tools, any local tiler will arrive on site with everything needed to shape the tiles around any pipes or sockets they need to fit around. Ideal when you want a premium quality finish without ever having to lift a finger. 

    WHAT IS MARBLE SPLIT FACE FINISH STONE?

    If you take horizontal cuts of a variety of different types and thickness of marble and then fix them all to a common substrate, you’ll have created split face marble. This intricate and elegant approach is a great way to strike meaningful contrasts between different veins and shades. 

    HOW THICK IS MARBLE SPLIT FACE STONE?

    A marble split face tile will typically be a little over 1/2” thick, making it relatively lightweight and suitable for a wide range of applications and uses.     What if the warehouse closest to you doesn’t have the item you have selected in stock?

    They can usually bring it in within a few days. If the manufacturer is willing to do this as a courtesy we will pass on that courtesy to you.  If there are any fees for this we will let you know so you can decide.  We always find out the exact timeline and email you to confirm if that is okay. If that doesn’t work for you then you will get a 100% refund. If it does, we proceed and email you when it is ready for pickup.
