    HOW TO MEASURE SQUARE FEET FOR BACKSPLASH TILE

    First, you need to determine which areas of your space you wish to cover with backsplash tile.  Once you have done this, you will need a measuring tape, a paper and pen and a calculator. Measure the width and the height of each area that you wish to cover with tiles. Note those measurements down. Make sure that you’ve measured all of the areas that you wish to tile so that you can calculate the correct square footage. 

     HOW TO CALCULATE SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR BACKSPLASH

    To calculate the square footage for backsplash tiles, the first thing you need to do is measure the width and length of your chosen area in inches. Once you have this measurement, you then divide the figure by 144. This will give you the total square footage. Don’t forget to add on a little more for wastage when you’re buying your tiles. 

    HOW MANY SQUARE FEET BACKSPLASH?

    Every space is different, so the square footage of your backsplash may be very different from someone else’s. Nevertheless, if we’re looking at average kitchen backsplash square footage, you can expect it to be around 20 to 40 square feet. Nevertheless, it’s essential to work out your own calculations to ensure you don’t buy too many or too few tiles.
