Orange Tiles – Zest For Life

Orange is a wonderfully vibrant color that exudes energy and vibrancy. It is a great color to use in the home to create an inviting atmosphere, and a feeling of warmth. Whether for a cozy kitchen backsplash, or flooring for a cool living room, with our bright orange hues, to subdued earthy rust shades, we have any shade of orange tile you could wish for to turn your home into a haven.

ORANGE TILE – BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

Whether you are looking for a solid-look, encaustic look, or contemporary-look tile, to name but a few of our fantastic options, you will find an enticing selection here at Stone & Tile. Suitable for uses all around the home including countertops, backsplashes, walls, floors, and exteriors, you are sure to find the perfect orange hued tile to complement your chosen theme, whether an invigorating solid color or mesmerizing pattern. Made from granite, marble, porcelain, and slate, as well as sandstone and ceramic in glossy, matte, and natural finishes, we have a tile to suit any requirement and location.

Porcelain and ceramic options provide you with lighter weight, budget-friendly style options that will resist heat and moisture around your home. Hard wearing, these tiles will easily withstand the scrapes and scratches of daily wear and tear. Marble and granite add dimension with their variegated detailing, while slate and sandstone add natural, subtle, beauty.

Bathrooms have a tendency to be cool rooms, and with their crisp white fixtures and tiled surfaces they can be viewed as austere, purely functional spaces. Orange shades work well in bathrooms, as their natural radiance creates the impression of warmth, adding a soothing, relaxing feel to the room.

ORANGE FLOOR TILES – RUSTIC CHARM

When choosing orange floor tiles, it is good to remember that deeper colors and busier patterns in a matte finish will hide superficial marks and scratches better than plain glossy tiles. With stone, porcelain, and ceramic options, all our tiles are durable enough to withstand the pressures of busy foot traffic providing all the practicality you need as well as style.

Choose our orange floor tiles for an outdoor terrace, patio, or balcony space to inject some color, whatever the weather. Many of our tiles can be used outdoors and can withstand freezing conditions and the risks associated with a freeze-thaw cycle. A patio of deep orange tile makes a stylish nod to a Mediterranean theme with earthy tones that pair so well with natural foliage and bright blue skies.

Indoors, orange floor tiles look attractive as a rustic option for a mudroom floor or entryway, and in kitchens our beautiful encaustic look tiles add a pretty, delicate pattern that work well with bohemian and maximalist themes.

ORANGE BACKSPLASH TILE

Deeper colors hide marks and splashes well making orange backsplash tile a great option for busy kitchens. Orange is a wonderful color for kitchens as it is a bright color, full of personality, and will inject life into the whole space. Orange exudes a warm, comfortable atmosphere which works well for a dining kitchen as a social space.

Orange backsplash tile is often overlooked in favor of more modern, neutral, and black and white themes. Yet orange can be all these things. An orange backsplash with lighter, neutral hues, works well with a shaker style kitchen or any cabinetry in chalky whites, beige, and grays. It can provide contemporary contrast to glossy white cabinets, and tone in well with natural wood options too. For a more natural look, opt for variegated stone, or stone-look tiles. For a stark modern look, opt of solid-look tiles or orange-hued metallics.

WHAT COLOR GOES WITH ORANGE TILES?

Orange is a warm color that can have bright or subdued undertones. In this way there are many shades that marry well with it. Blue, yellow, and green all work well with orange, picking up on its terracotta leanings for a Mediterranean inspired theme. Browns, earthy reds, and warm neutrals also work well with orange for a warming, natural scheme too.

HOW TO INSTALL ORANGE TILE UNDERLAYMENT?

DITRA is an alternative underlayment to cement board that provides a waterproof membrane. It is a dense flexible matting that can be unrolled and cut to size and works by absorbing stress from the substrate that could otherwise lead to cracking or breaking of the tile. It also helps preserve the grout. It is simply cut to size and laid over thin-set mortar spread over the substrate. Tile can be immediately laid on the membrane.

WHAT BATHROOM WALL COLOR GO WITH ORANGE TILE FLOORING?

Earthy orange hued tiles for a bathroom floor will pair nicely with warm neutrals to create a soothing, cozy atmosphere. If the flooring is also suitable for walls and backsplash, there is no reason not to echo the tile all round to create a cohesive, inviting space. If you opt for orange hued tiles on the floor, why not consider a natural stone, or stone look porcelain wall tile that has orange tones in its variegations to tie the whole look together.
