    Our Unilin glue down flooring and floating vinyl flooring is made by one of the leading brands in the flooring industry – Tesoro.     We offer thicknesses of up to 7mm for an extra luxurious feel when walking in bare feet, and when it comes to wear layers, we can offer up to 22 mil which is ideal for heavy duty applications such as in commercial premises. 

    GLUE DOWN VINYL TILES AND PLANKS ARE A CONVENIENT CHOICE

    Our glue down vinyl tiles and planks couldn’t be simpler to fit in any room. Our glue down products are designed to be rapid to install, allowing your new floor to be ready for use in a short space of time for your convenience. 

    Suitable for fitting over either a wood or concrete sub floor, Unilin products are a great choice for all kinds of spaces thanks to their versatility and effortless style. 

    WHAT’S THE BEST GLUE FOR # VINYL FLOORING?

    If you choose vinyl flooring that requires a separate adhesive, you should look for an acrylic based adhesive that is designed specifically for use with vinyl products. Alternatively, you could opt for one of our other installation systems such as click lock or self-adhesive tiles and planks. 

    HOW DO YOU GLUE DOWN VINYL FLOORING? 

    You can glue down vinyl flooring quite easily as long as the floor surface has been properly prepared and is smooth and clean ready for application. Use a trowel to apply your chosen acrylic-based adhesive at a 45 degree angle evenly onto the surface. You’ll then need to leave it for around 45 to 90 minutes until it becomes tacky and changes its color. You can then start to lay your flooring planks or tiles on top. 

    DOES LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL GLUE DOWN VINYL FLOORING?

    The actual process of installing your glue down vinyl flooring will take no longer than that of installing any other type of vinyl flooring like click lock or self-adhesive. You will, however, need to leave sufficient time for the adhesive to become tacky ready for the flooring to be laid over the top. This adds around 45 to 90 minutes to the process.

    What if the warehouse closest to you doesn’t have the item you have selected in stock?

    They can usually bring it in within a few days. If the manufacturer is willing to do this as a courtesy we will pass on that courtesy to you.  If there are any fees for this we will let you know so you can decide.  We always find out the exact timeline and email you to confirm if that is okay. If that doesn’t work for you then you will get a 100% refund. If it does, we proceed and email you when it is ready for pickup.
