    Marsala Extra limestone is a beautiful ivory beige. A gorgeous neutral with a slightly mottled pattern that gives the tile its natural stone charm. There is a mild gray veining that can be seen across each stone. While the color is consistent throughout, there is a slight variation in the stone's pattern, therefore no two tiles are identical. Marsala Extra can be used to create the perfect base for almost any design, its neutral color palette suiting a wide variety of styles.

    Limestone is created by the depositing of minerals and tiny sea creatures at the bottom of a body of water. Over time, layers build up until the pressure cements these sediments to form a solid rock. For this reason, there can often be minuscule fossils captured within limestone, dotted throughout the tile's surface.

    Limestone is an incredibly hardwearing stone which has been used to creating longstanding structures for centuries. Most famously perhaps, the Great Pyramids of Giza were made from a type of limestone, one of the most ancient constructions still in existence today.
