HOW DO YOU LAY 24 x 47 BLACK PORCELAIN TILES? 

Ensure that the surface you are adhering to is flat and smooth. If the surface is excessively pitted or undulated, you may prefer to create a level surface by using underlayments. Spread adhesive mortar onto the surface and smooth it over before leveling with the notched edge of the trowel to create ridges. 

Repeat this step on the rear of the tile as the double application of mortar ensures a secure bond for the tile. Press the tile firmly into place and insert spacers. Repeat these steps with the remaining tiles, using a tile alignment instrument to adjust their position snugly against the spacers. Once set, apply grout to the height of the tile surface and wipe away any excess. Leave to dry for at least 36 hours.
