HOW TO CUT MOSAIC SLATE TILE

You can cut mosaic slate tile in several ways, so you should choose the one that’s right for you. Some people recommend using an angle grinder or a circular saw with a carbide blade. However, a standard tile cutter can work just as well.

HOW DO YOU GROUT SLATE MOSAIC TILES?

Slate mosaic tiles are easy to grout. Once you have installed the tiles and allowed the adhesive to fully dry, you can mix up your grout to the required consistency and apply it to the surface of the tiles using a small trowel that allows you to focus on the joints. When the task is complete, leave to dry completely, which could be as long as 48 hours before wiping the surface with a damp cloth. This will remove any excess grout, leaving as smooth, clean surface.
