You can choose between decomposed granite and crushed granite when it comes to creating a suitable base for your pavers. Decomposed granite is a suitable base for many outdoor applications, not only paver patios. You can use it under walkways, fire pit areas and more too. 

CAN CRUSHED GRANITE BE USED FOR FILL FOR PAVER?

Crushed granite is a better choice for a paver base than as a fill for pavers, although decomposed granite is a suitable choice for use for this purpose. Another fill option for your pavers is polymeric sand.
