Just like the desert - wild and unpredictable - Sahara Gold marble is a stunning presentation of nature. Its golden beige background is littered with fiery red and earthy gray veins, whilst hints of cream burst through like milky puddles. This is a totally irregular stone with a vastly varied pattern, ideal for adding intrigue to your design.
Marble is widely regarded as the most beautiful stone on the market, and for good reason. It comes in the most exquisite colors and patterns, ranging from the bright and bold, to neutral and understated. Sahara Gold exists somewhere between these two points, with an exciting pattern, and a versatile color palette.
Marble is close to limestone in its geology but has undergone pressure and temperature changes to make it the stone we see today. It is hardwearing but is also slightly porous. Therefore, it is recommended that you seal your stone tiles upon application. This will help increase their longevity, ensuring them against stains and moisture damage.
To bring out the best in the stone, these tiles have been polished to a gorgeous shine. This is a highly refined finish, ideal for creating the most exquisite of designs. The tiles have been ground down until beautifully smooth. Any imperfections in the tile's texture have been removed, creating the perfect level surface. The next stage of the process involves buffing the stone until a brilliant shine is revealed. A thin layer of the top of the stone is removed in order to create a glossy sheen.
A polished finish is ideal for those looking for that classic marble sheen. Its surface reflects the light, creating a magnificently bright and airy interior - even the smallest of rooms will feel spacious.
Furthermore, the stone's exciting veins are enhanced to their full potential. While the creamy bedrock is highlighted, the gray and red tones are deepened, creating the perfect contrast.
Sahara Gold marble will add a hint of luxury to your design. Its rich coloring and vibrant veins create intrigue and texture, whilst retaining the versatility of a neutral-colored tile. Pair it with cream hues and wooden furniture for the ultimate in high-end homeliness. The hints of gray mean that even cool tones pair perfectly with Sahara Gold tiles. Your options are limitless.
Why not use this stunning marble to create a quality kitchen floor or backsplash? Alternatively, they'll work great in a bathroom where the aim is to create a relaxing and cozy environment.
