    MARBLE TRIM CAN WORK IN A VARIETY OF SETTINGS 

    Marble tile trim comes in a range of finishes and styles. It’s also a great way to complement the look and style of polished and split face marble inclusions you may already have in your space. 

    By making marble edge trim work as a versatile and luxurious border, you can break up larger surfaces in a truly elegant way. Think of it as something that does the same job as a marble threshold or elegant piece of marble coping, and you’ll see exactly what we have in mind. 

    TIME TO SELECT THE RIGHT MARBLE TRIM

    MARBLE TRIM FOR USE AS A BORDER  

    Using marble trim to not only cover gaps and joins but also to act as a border is a great way to approach things. It will allow you to break up larger surfaces in your interiors with something decorative that’s not overly ornate. 

    Finding the right balance is all about looking for thinner marble pencil trim that allows you to integrate a luxury material in a modest way.     CAN CULTURED MARBLE BE TRIMMED?

    Cultured marble can be easily cut with a circular saw fitted with a masonry blade. Mark out the position of your cut accurately and err on the side of caution by cutting too wide and work inwards for a snug fit where necessary. 

    HOW TO CUT MARBLE PENCIL TRIM?

    A water-cooled tile saw is a popular choice when cutting thinner pencil trim due to the dimensions of the material and the heat that will be generated. Smooth, level strokes are the way to make progress and are always preferred to trying to race to the finish and force the saw. 

    HOW TO INSTALL MARBLE TRIM?

    Marble trim can be fitted to any backing board with a regular waterproof tile adhesive. Finding something that provides good coverage while offering the shortest possible drying time will ensure you achieve a snug and level fit with ease. If you’re not confident with your DIY, any professional tiler will be able to fit Stone & Tile’s full range of marble trim quickly and efficiently without the need for rework.

    What if the warehouse closest to you doesn’t have the item you have selected in stock?

    They can usually bring it in within a few days. If that doesn’t work for you then you will get a 100% refund. If it does, we proceed and email you when it is ready for pickup.
