    The best way to cut 24 x 36 marble tiles is with a wet saw with a diamond blade fitted. Cutting while wet minimizes the spread of dust and keeps the blade cool while cutting hard materials like natural stone and marble.

    HOW DO YOU LAY 24 x 36 PORCELAIN TILE? 

    Porcelain tile is a durable but rigid material. To lay porcelain tile well the surface must be leveled with all gaps filled to create a smooth surface. This reduces the risk of grout crumbling and tiles snapping due to movement. Spread adhesive mortar onto the surface and onto the back of the tile with a trowel. 

    This double application ensures good coverage for a strong bond. Press the tile onto the surface and smooth over before placing spacers and applying the next tile. When complete, leave the tile to set and then fill in the joints with grout.
