Gold and cream with a splattering of rich brown garnets, Santa Cecilia Granite is luxurious looking in every way. While its granular pattern is unique to each stone, the overall effect is fairly consistent, with little in the way of contrasting veins. This makes it popular with those looking for a little reliability in their design.
Granite is incredibly popular due to its durability and longevity. It's one of the hardest stones on the market, meaning that it has a great resistance to scratches, one which cannot be rivaled by many material materials. This makes it ideal for use as a vanity, countertop, or floor, areas of the home that are prone to wear and tear.
Furthermore, it has a great level of heat resistance. Granite is often used for coasters or trivets because of its ability to withstand high temperatures. Whilst we do not recommend you use your beautiful new tiles in replacement for a trivet, it's always comforting to know that should your little one knock a hot pan or mug onto your new tiles, the risk of damage is low.
A glossy, polished finish is one of the most popular options available. There is no doubt that the high-shine surface has superior design qualities. For example, the reflective surface is almost mirror-like, therefore, light is bounced from wall to wall, creating a bright and airy design. Just like a mirror, designers comment on how a polished finish can create the feeling of space within even the smallest of rooms.
In terms of the tile's color and pattern, a polished finish emphasizes each and every element within the stone. The creamy bedrock is brightened, creating a beautiful backdrop for the brown garnets that have been deepened and darkened. The contrasting colors are exquisite, adding to the incredible pattern and textures that will give your interior design an edge.
Santa Cecilia is a classic looking stone with all the elegance of a creamy marble, but the durability of a dense granite. It can create the classic luxury kitchen by pairing it with cream or white colored cabinets. Add hints of wood to enhance the looking, incorporating traditional materials that will lift your design above the ordinary.
But even more enchanting than a tiled granite kitchen is a floor to ceiling tiled bathroom. This is the ultimate in high-end design. And, with Santa Cecilia exuding sumptuously rich golden cream colors, you can be assured that your bathroom will feel a cut above the rest. Pair it with white walls and towels, and golden faucets to complete the look.
