HOW TO SPLIT GRANITE COBBLES

In many cases you will not need to split your granite cobbles since they come in a choice of sizes to suit most spaces. However, should the need arise, you can cut them yourself to your desired size using a diamond tipped dust and water suppressed power saw.

HOW TO LAY GRANITE COBBLES

If you’re laying granite cobbles, you’ll need to make sure that your surface has been properly prepared first. It must be clean, level, and firm in order to achieve your desired effect. Mix up the mortar and apply it using a trowel to the surface – a mix of 1 part cement and water to 3 parts sand is ideal. Make sure to apply sufficient mortar to accommodate the cobbles’ depth. Press the cobbles into the mortar in your desired alignment then fill in the joints. Leave to dry completely.

Our granite cobbles come in a variety of different sizes to suit the needs of various applications and projects. Our smallest cobbles measure just 3.5” x 3.5” while our largest measure 9” x 5”. We have a choice of both square and rectangular cobbles and six different sizes.
